Universal Product Stacker: 

The Universal Product Stacker stacks products in pre-configurable stack sizes. The system can be used to stack a continuous feed of products traveling along a conveyor line into vertical stacks, saving space and facilitating the packing of products into shipping boxes. Products leaving a packaging machine or collating machine such as the Presto or Merlin can also be stacked using the Universal Product Stacker. Products accumulate on the in-feed conveyor during ejection cycles, enabling the system to handle 70 products per minute without pausing the upstream process. As a result of the in-feed conveyor to serve as both a temporary buffer, and a means for adjusting the input height of the stacker, interfacing is virtually not required. This feature enables the stacker to be incorporated into almost any continuous packaging line. Adjustable guides accomodate a wide range of product sizes and a smart electronic control feature allows for the system to sense the thickness of each product. A learn mode is executed to set the number of products required in each stack.

 Disc in Case Checking

An optional feature is available that checks that a discs is present in each case. Cases can be inspected even when they are closed. Empty cases are ejected from the stacker into a reject bin thereby insuring that  each product shipped has a disc placed inside.
